The entry foyer of the home provides an area for welcoming family members and guests.

This area functions as both a living and dining space and opens directly into the spacious kitchen. Open concept homes often present a challenge for homeowners to furnish. Knowing how to define spaces within open spaces takes skill. The individual spaces need to complement and flow and yet stand on their own. Adding carpet to a sitting area grounds that area and subtly defines it.
